Unleash the Adventure!
Before You Set Off
-
Before you leave home, don't forget to print out the treasure map and the gambit answers sheet to use during your hunt.
-
The answers to names and places will be in Catalan, not English or Spanish.
-
Take a mobile phone or tablet, you'll need access to this website if you want to check your answers as you go.
-
We recommend you use Google Maps to explore each location as they have a lot of additional information that will help you solve the puzzles.
-
Please consider taking a bag with you. That way, if you see any litter while you are out on your hunt you can be a good neighbour and pick it up.
-
Check out our Gambits page to see what types of clues you can expect to find on your hunt. If it isn't on the list, we won't use it.
-
At no time during the hunt do you need to venture into private property or climb onto anything, and we ask that you don't. The town hunts are public hunts on public property except for any hunts that are based in publicly accessible areas like museums, Talayots, etc. In these cases we will advise you at the beginning of the hunt and let you know that this hunt will require the payment of an entrance fee.

Don't forget to say "Hola" or "Buenos Días" to people you meet. And most of all, have fun!
-
Ask yourselves these questions before you go on a hunt: -

-
Do I have the right clothing, sunscreen, and the proper equipment?
-
Do I have the skills and experience to complete the hunt safely?
-
Do I have enough food and water?
-
Did I share my plans with someone, including my proposed route and time of return?
-
Have I checked the weather forecast to ensure it is safe to go?
